Maxani Honey-O3 gel

Operation
In Honey O3 Gel, honey combined with glycerin creates a moist wound environment. In a moist wound environment, the growth and migration of new cells is stimulated and it ensures that important proteins for wound closure stay where they need to be to do their repair work. Also, in a moist wound environment, scabs cannot form and the wound is kept supple. The Honey O3 Gel can greatly advance wound healing, in part because it loosens dead tissue from wounds particularly quickly, thereby reducing the inflammatory response. In the pure honey, the low pH and high amount of glucose oxidase provide the powerful antibacterial action. The glucose oxidase is converted into gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) after it comes into contact with the skin/wound. Gluconic acid creates an acidic environment that bacteria and potential pathogens do not like. By applying new honey to the wound regularly, this process keeps repeating itself. The disinfecting action works deep into the wound. Lowering the pH increases oxygen, which promotes tissue growth.
Use
Apply the Honey O3 Gel to the affected skin. It is important to change the gel and any dressing every 24 to 48 hours. Maxani Cleanser spray can be used to easily remove debris and honey residue so that the honey gel can be applied to a clean wound.
