Dogs and horses with dry to extremely dry skin.
Honey and propolis have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, honey and propolis promote tissue growth in the skin barrier. Bee pollen can reduce allergic symptoms by inhibiting histamine, stimulate skin tissue and protect against dehydration. Aloe vera has moisturizing and soothing properties. It regenerates epithelial cells and makes the epidermis supple. The ester compounds in jojoba oil can penetrate the stratum corneum (stratum corneum) of the skin. Together with the intercellular lipids, they can reduce moisture loss, called transepidermal moisture loss. Jojoba oil has the action of an emollient that gives the skin more suppleness and elasticity. It also has a healing effect on damaged skin. Calendula has antibacterial and antifungal properties and reduces inflammation. In addition, calendula soothes and nourishes the skin and thus supports the recovery of affected skin. Shampoo therapy with this shampoo nourishes and protects the skin.
Depending on the condition, severity of the complaint and purpose of the treatment, the frequency of shampooing varies. We recommend that for extremely dry skin at least 2 to 3 times
per week until the clinical symptoms disappear. Honey complex skin shampoo has nourishing and soothing properties and is ideally suited to use once a week as a
maintenance product. Shake well before use. Preferably wash the animal 2 times per shampooing. The first time for a cleansing effect (removing dirt, flakes, etc.), the second time for treatment. At the second washing let the shampoo soak in for 5-10 minutes for an optimal effect. Do not use if the animal is sensitive to any of the ingredients.
