Operation
Aloe vera and vitamin E soothe the skin and contribute to the skin's repair capabilities. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and as an antioxidant it protects cells, cell membranes, bloodstream and surrounding tissues. Vitamin E thus strengthens and nourishes the skin barrier. Chlorhexidine acts against a broad spectrum of unwanted microorganisms, lowering the pH of the skin and damaging the bacterial cell wall. Chlorhexidine digluconate has antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. Benzoic acid has antibacterial activity, reduces sebum and has keratolytic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Use
The frequency of using the wipes depends on the condition, severity of the complaint and the purpose of the treatment. We recommend cleansing with the wipes at least once to twice daily in cases of skin infection. As maintenance, the wipes can be used several times a week.
Maxani Chlorhexidine wipes are biodegradable.
