Aluco Guardian™ NPWT system

Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). with the Aluco Guardian™ System supports the treatment of complex and poorly healing wounds through the controlled application of negative negative negative pressure to the wound bed. This negative pressure actively drains exudate, reduces edema and bacterial load, and improves microcirculation. This increases tissue oxygenation and promotes the formation of healthy granulation tissue.

In practice, this leads to wounds stabilizing faster and being suitable for reconstruction or final wound closure sooner. Clinical experience and studies show that this process is significantly faster compared to conventional wound treatment, in some cases even in about half the time.

The system can be used for:

• open and infected traumatic wounds
• bite marks
• postoperative wounds and wound dehiscence
• Pyogenic and necrotizing wounds after surgical debridement
• Oncologic wounds after complete marginal excision (without evidence of active metastasis)
• wounds with exposed implants
• support of skin flaps and free skin grafts
