In practice, dogs with cancer often show decreased appetite, weight loss and decrease in muscle mass, while nutritional needs are increased. BraveBites® were developed as a functional, palatable supplement in these patients, with the goal of supporting nutritional intake and quality of life, in addition to regular treatment.

BraveBites® are semi-soft, oven-baked snacks enriched with targeted supplements, developed in collaboration with veterinarians. Their high acceptability makes them suitable for dogs that (temporarily) do not absorb regular food as well.

Contributes to good digestibility and supports maintenance of muscle mass, strength and energy levels in dogs with increased metabolic load.

Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) from fish and algae oils
Support the maintenance of muscle mass and may help reduce inflammatory processes. In addition, they promote palatability and acceptance.

L-carnitine
Supports fat metabolism and helps conserve muscle mass through more efficient use of fatty acids as an energy source.

Prebiotics (FOS & MOS)
Support healthy intestinal flora, which can help improve digestion, regular bowel movements and support natural resistance.

Dehydrated chicken meal (38%), dried potato flakes, vegetable glycerin, tapioca, peas, salmon oil, hydrolyzed chicken protein, apple juice, dried apple fiber, FOS (1%), vegetable fiber (lignocellulose), algae oil, minerals, MOS (0.2% mannan oligosaccharides & β-glucans).
