Die zone wordt vochtig, en als dat vocht blijft zitten, gaat de huid daar irriteren.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-&#091;1.7&#093;\">Bij teefjes hangt er soms een huidplooi over het plasgebied. Daar komt nauwelijks lucht bij. Bij honden met een volle of lange vacht rond die plek hopen vuil en vocht zich makkelijker op.<\/p>\n<h3>Wat kun je doen?<\/h3>\n<p>Regelmatig en voorzichtig reinigen van deze zones helpt. Breng een kleine hoeveelheid reiniger aan op een zachte doek of gaasje en veeg voorzichtig over de zone. Hard wrijven is niet nodig en werkt averechts. De huid is daar gevoelig, zachte toepassing is genoeg.<\/p>\n<p>Hoe vaak je dat doet, hangt af van je hond. Bij de ene is een paar keer per week voldoende, bij de andere mag het wat vaker. Maar blijft de huid rood, zie je dikkere of vreemd ruikende afscheiding, lijkt je hond pijn te hebben bij aanraking, of komen de klachten ondanks regelmatig schoonmaken steeds terug?
